The museum will be officially inaugurated and opened to the public on 23rd January 2018, the date that commemorates the 55th anniversary of the Franco-German Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, signed on 22nd January 1963 by President Charles de Gaulle and Chancellor Konrad Adenauer at the Elysée palace, to seal Franco-German reconciliation.
